NJR seeks new Regional Clinical Coordinator members

Do you participate in the NJR? Do you have a view on data collection, data reporting or data quality? Would you like an opportunity to facilitate national audit, quality improvement and best practice across a region? Would you like to represent the voice of your surgeon colleagues in NJR business? Could you take on responsibility as an NJR Regional Clinical Coordinator (RCC)?
If the answer is ‘yes’ to any of the questions of above then the National Joint Registry would be pleased to hear from you!
The registry is currently seeking interest and applications from joint replacement surgeons who wish to actively participate in the Regional Clinical Coordinator Sub-committee – the group responsible for bringing the experiences and views of hospitals and surgeons to the NJR work programme and vice versa.
Members would be responsible for demonstrating regional leadership in registry compliance, consent and data quality and supporting the implementation of best practice in orthopaedic quality improvement. Members are also expected to bring forward ideas and suggestions to improve and shape NJR initiatives.

In the forthcoming year, the RCC Sub-committee will be integral in ensuring the continued success of the NJR’s Supporting Data Quality Strategy and driving forward engagement with registry data and services, such as NJR implant price-benchmarking work.
