This is a rare opportunity to lead one of the most important national programmes for patient safety and healthcare improvement.

The National Joint Registry (NJR) holds over 4.5 million joint replacement records, making it the largest orthopaedic registry of its kind in the world. It is internationally recognised as a global exemplar of an implantable medical device registry.

The NJR is governed through an independently-chaired NJR Board, with whom the post-holder will work closely to ensure strong governance, clear decision-making and assured delivery.
