NJR Annual Clinical Report (ACR) – financial year 2025/26 released
The NJR data collection and monitoring system presents hospital management staff with a range of reports to provide a thorough overview of key indicators of their hospital’s orthopaedic surgical performance. Our Annual Clinical Reports for 2025/26 have just been released today, 22 September.
The ACR reports use NJR data for the most recent complete financial year and cover:
- Indicators of data quality: rates of compliance, patient consent and linkability.
- Hip and knee replacement outcomes data (funnel plots), for revision for all hospitals and surgeons (anonymised), across procedure types.
- Hospital outcomes data for hip and knee replacement (funnel plots) for mortality.
The following changes, broken down by the section to which they relate, have been made to this year’s report:

The overall hospital consent rate indicator and corresponding thermometer have been removed and replaced with:
- Hospital Elective Consent Rate
- Hospital Trauma Consent Rate
