Role Description
NJR Clinical Liaison Lead

The NJR Clinical Liaison Lead (CLL) is a designated surgeon or other healthcare professional within each hospital/unit performing joint replacement surgery. CLLs provide support to their NJR Regional Clinical Coordinator (RCC) and NJR Compliance Officer (CO) as may be required, dealing with any NJR-related issues that may arise. The CLL will help support their unit’s NJR data quality and outcomes.

The CLL serves as the primary internal contact for NJR-related business matters and will actively engage with RCCs and COs, facilitating communication channels and addressing local concerns related to NJR.

Advocating for the NJR within their orthopaedic department is a key responsibility, contributing to the increased visibility and understanding of its functions. Additionally, they encourage collaboration within the local team, particularly with Hospital Data Managers, ensuring seamless engagement and support for NJR data quality audits and are responsible for spreading this information and monitoring NJR compliance and data collection.
