1 November 2014
In response to direct feedback from data collection staff and orthopaedic surgeons the National Joint Registry (NJR) is set to revise its Minimum Data Set (MDS). The new Version 6 will launch on Friday 14 November 2014.
The changes will see:
refinement in the data that are collected for primary and revision hip, knee, ankle, elbow and shoulder joint replacement and
- reduction in the burden of data collection whilst enhancing the ability of the NJR to analyse the data in ways that more appropriately reflect clinical practice
The revisions have been reviewed extensively by the NJR’s Regional Clinical Coordinators Network and the NJR’s Steering Committee.
