NJR Medical Director to speak at OICAN 2014

The National Joint Registry's Medical Director Martyn Porter is to speak at the forthcoming Orthopaedic International Clinical Audit Network (OICAN) annual meeting.

The event will take place on Tuesday 1 April at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry. The programme offers orthopaedic professionals the opportunity to hear from experts and share good clinical audit practice in orthopaedic surgey. 

Lead Clinician for Clinical Audit at Oswestry and Moderator for OICAN Mr Cormac Kelly said: "I welcome anyone involved in the field of clinical audit or other quality improvement programs to join us in April for a day of information and education. We also hope to begin a process of Network audit on some topics of mutual interest starting with the thorny issue of Consent for surgery."
