The NJR Patient Network: the importance of the patient voice in our work
The NJR invites patients who have undergone joint surgery or are considering having it, to join our Patient Network. The network offers the opportunity to contribute the patient voice to the work of the NJR in helping to improve patient outcomes.
What is the NJR Patient Network?
The NJR Patient Network provides an online space where members can share their experiences and insights about joint replacement surgery and discuss some of the work and activities of the NJR. By participating, members add the patient voice to the NJR’s work and this ensures that patient perspectives are always included. Members have the opportunity to give feedback on some key initiatives and to contribute to the work of our committees, and to get involved in some research projects.
Joining the network is straightforward, those interested can visit the NJR Patient Network section of the website here to learn more and sign up. Participation in the network could make a significant difference to the lives of future patients undergoing joint surgery. Members are welcome to attend as many meetings and activities, as often as they would like to and are able to. We appreciate that everyone’s time is valuable.
